FAQs
What happens if you come out here for a service and vehicle isn’t ready, or is not what we wanted you to come and do?
In the event we arrive to perform a service and the vehicle doesn’t need the service we were called out for, we will advise you before we proceed on what the vehicle needs and reschedule a later time. If our schedule during that time doesn’t permit for the services needed a Trip charge may apply.
If a technician is dispatched to your repair shop and vehicle isn’t ready or is no longer in your possession and no notification of vehicle status was given a trip charge WILL APPLY. Please let us know beforehand we don’t want to take your money and not provide a service. But we do have to pay for our technician’s time.
Do you charge if a used module doesn’t program?
Used or non-OEM remanufactured modules may have a high cost or not program to vehicle at all, call before installing for info. We are NOT responsible for the incurred cost of non-OEM modules not being programmed correctly or being unprogrammable.
How fast can you come out here?
Within 24-48hrs. Same day service may be available depending on our booking schedule. We advise to book a timeslot with us ahead of time if you know you’ll be needing programming during one of your repairs.
Do you do residential or general public service calls?

Programming FAQs
Can you program a used module on a newer GM?
Yes, we can but be advised any GM 2014 and up are usually a one time use. We do not hold any responsibility in the outcome of attempting to programming a used module when its recommended not to be done.
And this is why:
The Global Architecture electrical system associated with these vehicles does not allow controller swaps between vehicles. Swapping ECMs or other modules (including Radio, BCM, EBCM, SDM, TCM, ECC (HVAC), EPS, HPCM, & IPC) between two vehicles with the Global Architecture electrical system will result in damaging both controllers (A NO START CONDITION WILL OCCUR ON BOTH VEHICLES IF THESE MODULES ARE SWAPPED) due to the new vehicle security code protocol (environment) starting with the 2010 MY GDS applications.
HOWEVER, we do have the ability to renew, or clone used PCM & TCM modules. Call before installation!
We have two modules with different part numbers, but both will work can you program it?
We will attempt to program any module you request, with the understanding that you are aware that we are NOT responsible for any incurred cost. We recommend that you have matching part numbers to ensure a successful outcome.
Do you need 2 keys to program this replacement PCM/ECM?
1. MOST PCM, BCM/SJB, IPC & PATS modules require 2 factory keys when programming replacement modules.
2. BCM/SJBs usually require 2 keys, 2 remotes, & 4 functioning TPMS sensors. (If applicable) Extra charge maybe applied if we need to supply TPMS sensors to complete programming.
3. Some Immobilizer related modules (PCM, BCM, IPC, WCM, ETC.) REQUIRES Drivers License & Insurance or Registration of OWNER to process the procedure, and or to acquire the PIN code. A $50 ADDITIONAL charge will be required. If you are unsure about your module, please call us before!
4. MANY replacement WCM, WIN & SKIM modules require NEW keys as the old keys will not reprogram to a new unit.
We advise you retrieve all keys from the customer before we show up to program. We do however carry most common keys in our inventory. Please call ahead of time to ensure we have what you may need.
Can you program only 1 module on a European manufacture?
It varies on YMM, and vehicle repair history. Some programming events require multiple modules and are charged at $75 for each additional module or $150/hr after the 1st hour, whichever is cheaper. Some BMW’s may require the whole car to be updated and may take several hours to complete correctly.
